Renovation
133 Lindsay St, Hamilton
by Dean Berman
Everyone loves a good property transformation, a fantastic example just sold at 133 Lindsay St, Hamilton in the Newcastle region.
Marketed by Tammy Hawkins of McGrath and achieved a sale price of $1,110,000.
Originally purchased in September 2009 for $312,000 the property has undergone extensive renovations which according to council costed $155,000 at the time of approval in December 2013.
The original miners cottage has been incredibly mixed into the architecturally designed extension, creating a seamless flow.
I personally like the neutral tones used throughout, complementing the wooden floor boards and slight splashes of colours.
